  • Secure yourself a long term position

  • Level 2 or above Qualification in 'Supporting Teaching and Learning' or equivalent required
  • Experience working in EYFS is essential

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School in Nelson BB9 who are in need of an experienced Teaching Assistant to work full time in the Reception class. The school is well known in the area and would look excellent on your CV. The Head teacher has expressed that she is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant who has the ability to support Reading and Writing activities and would feel confident delivering 1:1 support.

The Practitioner must be dedicated and passionate, who has a nurturing personality and who will help the class make positive attainment ready for their transition to KS1. The position is to start in September 2019, after unexpected leave of absence. The role is on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.

You will need to acquire;

  • Experience in EYFS or School environment
  • Available for full time work
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the Early Years Sector
  • Level 2 qualified or above
  • Core Subject Knowledge of Maths and English
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Experience of delivering Phonics

The salary is based on a 6.5 hour position held in the mornings, Monday to Friday, and depending on experience, this could vary between £9.50 - £10.50 per hour.
