Location: Exeter, Devon
Start Date: December 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: £120–£150 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and creative Early Years Teacher ready to inspire Exeter’s youngest learners at the very start of their education journey?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Exeter, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS/Reception Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.
The Role
In this rewarding role, you will:

Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Observe and assess children’s progress, tailoring activities to support their individual needs.

Work closely with classroom support staff, parents and senior leaders to ensure the best possible start to school life.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you:
-
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Have experience teaching within EYFS or Reception.
-
Are passionate about early childhood education and child development.
-
Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
-
Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
