Location: Exeter, Devon
Start Date: December 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: £120–£150 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a passionate and creative Early Years Teacher ready to inspire Exeter’s youngest learners at the very start of their education journey?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Exeter, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS/Reception Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.

The Role

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and imaginative lessons following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every child can thrive.

  • Observe and assess children’s progress, tailoring activities to support their individual needs.

  • Work closely with classroom support staff, parents and senior leaders to ensure the best possible start to school life.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.

  • Have experience teaching within EYFS or Reception.

  • Are passionate about early childhood education and child development.

  • Have strong communication and classroom management skills.

  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
