Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
We are looking for an experienced EYFS practitioner to take on an interim position in an Infant School based just outside of March. This role does have the opportunity of being extended, depending on the progression of the pupils as a result of your input.
The position is full time, 5 days a week supporting an EYFS class. The successful applicant will work to support the pre-school, including building relationships with the children and supporting the class leader with planning, monitoring and assessment.
Ideal applicants will:
- Have worked previously in EYFS
- Have a patient and focused attitude towards the educational development of young children
- Willingness to support and contribute effectively towards the learning outcomes of each class taught by the Teacher
- Be willing to work full time
- Be happy to help with some personal care duties.
The school have insisted that all applicants must have previous experience working in the EYFS, and this is because the school is a pupil focused environment that prides itself on the success and development of the children that attend. Therefore it is essential for the pupils to have someone with prior experience in order to achieve the best results possible.
In your role you will be expected to actively contribute in class activities and provide 1:1 support when needed, as well as general support for both the pupils and the class teacher if they require it.
If you are interested, we would love to hear from you.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
