Job Advert: EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster, DN2, South Yorkshire
Salary: £83.85 - £100 Per day
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: March 2025

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and committed EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and ensure that every child is supported to make progress, both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning and provide targeted interventions.
- Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting children with varying needs and abilities.
- Promote good behaviour and encourage positive social interactions among pupils.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have equal access to the curriculum.
- Supervise children during break and lunchtimes as required.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential).
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
