Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting children’s learning and development?

We’re currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Caerphilly and Blackwood. You’ll play a vital role in supporting classroom learning and providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning needs, working alongside committed teachers and school staff.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners and become a valued part of a supportive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support, particularly to pupils with additional needs.

• Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources and learning activities.

• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.

• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation.

• Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), helping them reach their full potential.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a primary school.

• Confident supporting pupils with a variety of learning needs.

• Patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with children.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Passionate about education and committed to making a difference.
