Job Title: Experienced Primary Teacher – Sheffield (S2 & Surrounding Areas)

Location: S2, Sheffield and nearby areas
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply opportunities
Salary: £120 – £180 per day (depending on experience & role)


About the Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced, adaptable, and confident Qualified Primary Teachers to support schools across S2 and the surrounding Sheffield areas.

Our partner primary schools are specifically looking for teachers who can step into the classroom and make an immediate impact. With the start of the new academic year, schools need staff who bring both strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum and the classroom expertise to engage learners and manage behaviour effectively.

Whether you’re looking for long-term commitments or flexible supply work, your experience will allow you to hit the ground running and provide consistency for pupils from Early Years through to Key Stage 2.

  • Confidently teach across the full Primary National Curriculum
  • Adapt quickly to different year groups (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
  • Deliver high-quality lessons with little notice or preparation time
  • Manage behaviour positively and maintain a purposeful learning environment
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs
  • Bring proven strategies from previous classroom experience to support pupil progress

Your experience means you can walk into a primary classroom and establish trust, consistency, and effective learning from day one.


Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year’s recent UK primary teaching experience (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
