Exams Officer required ASAP in Leyland school!

Job description

I am working in partnership with a school in Leyland who are requiring an Exams Officer until the end of the exam season (mid June) but likely until the end of the year.

The role is to start, ideally, ASAP with a view to it being full-time.

Experience of working as an Exams Officer is highly desirable but not essential, if you have experience within admin and working in schools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exams schedules for internal exams, downloading all relevant base data (exam boards) into SIMs Exams Management system and liaising with the Data & Exams Manager to discuss deadlines and other exam related issues. Due to the job requirements, it is essential if you don't have the Exams Officer experience you must have some admin related experience.

This is a 'Good' school in Leyland and staff and pupils at the school are very welcoming towards new colleagues. The working hours will be approx 08:40am - 15:15pm.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
