Job description

Are you passionate about teaching and empowering young learners? TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) tutors to join our team!

Position: ESOL Tutor

Location: Flexible (Online & In-person options available)

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging and effective ESOL lessons to young learners.
  • Assess students’ language proficiency and tailor lessons accordingly.
  • Create a supportive, interactive, and dynamic learning environment.
  • Foster a love for learning and help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with both students and parents.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

We are looking for tutors who are:

  • Passionate about education and helping students grow.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, and creative in lesson planning.
  • Able to build strong rapport with young learners.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in teaching ESOL.
  • Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Able to work flexibly and adapt to students' individual learning needs.

Qualifications:

  • TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience teaching ESOL is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • A genuine passion for helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
