ENGLISH TUTOR REQUIRED - FULL TIME - ASAP START - DARWEN

A large Secondary school in Lower Darwen is looking to appoint an English Tutor to work alongside GCSE students. This role has arisen due to the catch up funding being injected into schools this October. The school are looking for a candidate who has recent GCSE experience and is available full time. The school is on a trajectory of improvement with results improving rapidly. In 2018 our English results rose significantly and are now in line with National average.

The BBC are reporting that on average, 44% of pupils will require catch up tuition sessions in the new academic year. In addition to this, it is estimated that pupils are now 3 months behind in their studies with only 66% of their curriculum from last year having been fully covered!  We are now looking to recruit a number of Tutors who are available full and part time across Lancashire. We have seen a rise of schools approaching Teaching Personnel for their long term tuition roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
