English Graduate Tutor-Halifax

Are you an English graduate who has the passion to inspire others to take an interest in your subject?

Perhaps you have aspirations to teach and but would first like to know what it is like to work in a school and want to gain hugely important experience first?

Would you like a long-term role, in which you would be able to develop your knowledge and learn from experienced Teachers?

This particular school in Halifax have recently been graded 'Good' by Ofsted with 'Outstanding' features which is an excellent achievement for the school's SLT. It is well-deserved recognition of the hard work and excellent learning experiences that the staff consistently deliver to their students on a daily basis

They are experienced practitioners who are well versed working with teaching graduates and know how to support and guide you through your time at school. The facilities are excellent at school and you will be working in a state of the art English department with professionals around you who are more than happy to help. The school do also offer routes into teaching at the end of the academic year for those that want to pursue that particular route.

 English Graduate Teaching Assistant

 • You will be working within the English department

 • Creating and implementing your own intervention strategies

 • Working with different groups of students (different abilities)

• Utilising your expert subject knowledge and helping the students' progress and improve attainment

 • Work with the class teacher and learn to plan lessons which will be fantastic experience for you

• You will require a minimum of a 2:2 in your degree from an excellent institution

 • Good A-Levels and GCSEs

 • Experience tutoring would be highly beneficial to your application or any experience working with young people

 • Motivated and passionate about your subject

 • Genuine desire to make a positive impact and affect the lives of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
