English Tutor

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a popular South Manchester based secondary school for an English tutor to start a full time role from September 2021.

Due to school closures students have missed a large part of learning in a crucial period of their development, as result of this the school are looking for a highly academic individual to provide dedicated 1:1 and small group academic intervention to help designated students receive targeted English catch up support.

You will be working directly under the schools SENCO, who will help you design and deliver curriculum to help support students lacking subject areas. A crucial aspect of the role will be providing detailed feedback reports to relevant stakeholders, including members of the senior leadership team, heads of department and virtual schools.

The role will be working six and a half hour days from 9am – 3:30, Monday – Friday.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing dedicated intervention or teaching assistant support in a secondary school setting previously. Graduates with experience in tuition, youth work or sports coaching are also encouraged to apply.

·       Pay between GBP1300-GBP1450 per month, dependent on experience

·       Full time, permanent position in a popular South Manchester Secondary School

·       Role commencing in September 2021

·       CPD/Training days provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
