Job Title: Part-Time English Tutor

Location: Urmston, Manchester

Start Date: September 2023

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Tutor to join the English Department at a client secondary school based in Urmston. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality English tuition sessions to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on a 1:1 and small group intervention basis.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as required
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required

Requirements:
- A degree in English or a related subject
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS)
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success

This is a part-time position, with hours to be agreed upon appointment. The salary for this role will be competitive and dependent on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
