Position: English Tutor (GCSE Level)
Location: Flexible – work remotely or face-to-face.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Tailoring lessons to meet individual learning goals in English Language and Literature.
  • Helping students understand key texts, improve analytical skills, and master exam techniques.
  • Using creative, accessible teaching methods to make English engaging.
  • Providing clear progress updates to parents and schools.

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience teaching or tutoring English at secondary level.
  • Strong communication skills and a love for language and literature.
  • A patient, encouraging approach that builds student confidence.
  • A degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
