We’re seeking a dynamic, engaging, and charismatic English Language and Literature Tutor to work with students preparing for their GCSE exams. Whether you’re interested in a long-term opportunity, a short-term role, or just exploring your options, we have something for you!
As part of our team, you’ll work closely with students to adapt your teaching approach to their individual needs, helping them build confidence in both English Language and Literature. From the intricacies of Shakespeare’s tragedies to developing strong writing skills, your goal will be to ignite a love of learning while preparing them for success in their GCSE exams.
Competitive Pay: £25 - £30 per hour.

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ A passionate and engaging tutor with a strong command of English Language and Literature.
✔️ In-depth knowledge of the GCSE English Language and Literature curriculum, including works like Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth.
✔️ Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one through TP Tutors).
✔️ Experience working with students who have additional needs, such as SEND or SEMH, is a plus.
✔️ Proven experience teaching GCSE English, with a focus on Literature and Language.
✔️ Professional references from your two most recent employers (covering the last 24 months of your career).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
