Are you an English graduate looking for work as an English teaching assistant next academic year?

Due to the next Year 7 cohort being almost double in size to last years, our client school are looking to provide additional support in their English department with the appointment of an English graduate working as an English teaching assistant.

* Ideal experience for aspiring English teachers prior to ITT

* £55 - £70 per day dependant on experience

* Working in a 1:1 and small group English intervention capacity

Located in North Manchester, Blackley, our client school serves a diverse catchment area with the vast majority of the currently enrolled 1200 pupils hailing from the local areas of Crumpsall, Blackley and Moston. The school was formed when two local single sex comprehensives merged and moved to a purpose built site in 2014. The school is now located in a purpose built facility with state of the art provisions of learning which are conducive to a climate for learning. Since the appointment of the new Principal, there was been a focus on targeted and effective intervention for students across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Requirements of post as English teaching assistant;

* Applicants must be an English graduate (English Language/Literature or Creative Writing)

* Experience working in education, either school setting or tuition

* Desire to progress career in education via teacher training
