English Teacher - Newcastle

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join an 'Outstanding' local Secondary School and work in a faculty that achieves excellent results and Student outcomes. The successful candidate will have high expectations of themselves, their colleagues and their pupils. You will be able to offer inspirational and innovative teaching to Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils of mixed abilities, experience or interest in teaching at KS5 desirable.

The role will involve teaching English Literature and English Language subjects across the Department, as such there is flexibility in the timetable and specialisms that can be considered. Candidates must be passionate about their Subjects and enthusing Students in it, as well as raising attainment across the board and contributing to positive educational outcomes.

The position is covering a long-term sickness and is expected to run until December 2019 however, may be extended. The school may be looking to interview candidates however would consider using the first few weeks as a trial.
