English Teacher
South Manchester
Teaching Personnel are looking for a resilient and passionate Teacher of English to join our client school in January 2020. The successful teacher will be responsible for delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to deliver lessons at KS5.
- Full time role – teaching English across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5
- Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)
- Introduction to a large vibrant secondary academy located in South Manchester
We are looking for a highly motivated teacher of English with a proven track record of success in delivering the English curriculum at KS3 and GCSE level. The successful English teacher will have excellent teaching and learning strategies and will be able to engage and motivate students of all learning abilities. They will be able to manage classroom behaviour appropriately to ensure that all students achieve their potential. Our client school also has a sixth form and therefore, the successful English teacher will also have the opportunity to deliver KS5 lessons if suitable.
The successful English teacher will join our client school in January and will be required until the end of the academic year. This is a full time role with full teaching responsibilities included.
Our client school is a large vibrant academy located in South Manchester. The school is popular in the local community and has just fewer than 1000 pupils on roll. For those on public transport, the school is easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre and surrounding area. The school also has a large staff car park available for those who drive. The school intake has a high number of students who are eligible for free school meals and therefore we are looking for a resilient teacher who is passionate about inclusive learning and will help all students achieve their potential.
