Experienced Qualified English Teachers or Newly Qualified English Teachers required for roles to start in September 2019 in Secondary Schools in the Yorkshire Coast. Are you an English Teacher looking for a new challenge? Please keep reading.

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of Secondary Schools located in the East Coast of Yorkshire, in particular with schools in Bridlington, Scarborough, Whitby, Filey but also Malton and Pickering. We are expecting an increase in demand for English Teachers who could work in long-term, temporary assignments in the new academic year.

The positions can be full-time or part-time, on a temporary basis.

Are you a Qualified Teacher of English or a Newly Qualified Teacher of English looking for a new opportunity from September 2019? Do you live in the Yorkshire Coast or in the surrounding areas? Can you teach English to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)?

Our client schools based in the Yorkshire Coast are seeking to appoint English Teachers who will share their belief and their vision for the future. This includes the expectation of at least good teaching and learning and an environment where colleagues work to the highest standards of professionalism.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A good degree in the curricular area
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and challenge young people
  • Commitment to fulfilling wider professional responsibilities
  • Strong subject knowledge

Our client Secondary Schools are mixed 11-16 schools serving a genuinely comprehensive intake. As well as these, we work with a number of Independent Schools which include a Sixth Form.
