Our client school based in RCT is currently looking to appoint an English teacher starting in September.

• Permanent English teacher position- September start

• Attractive pay rates in line with the MPS/UPS scale (£22467-£38,250 per annum)

The school is located north of Cardiff and has excellent public transport links. In recent years the school has seen an improvement in the standards of teaching and learning which is reflected by the increase in pupil’s attainment, this has developed students striving for their personal development. In their most recent inspection the school was described as being a calm and positive place to be with students having a positive attitude to learning. This has led to them achieving the most improved school in RCT 2014 and is currently above the national floor standards in the key measures especially in English.

Requirements to work as an English Teacher:

• UK qualified teacher status (NQTs are welcome to apply)

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to promote the learning of all students and raise attainment

• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills to keep pupils across all age ranges and abilities engaged
