In recent years GCSE, AS and A2 results at this school have been outstanding. At KS3 the school also continue to exceed national expectations. Despite these successes, they strive for improvement and a reflective, collaborative and dynamic approach is key to their ethos. With this in mind, they would be looking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational teacher who is an outstanding team-player and who thrives on new challenges.
There is a range of experience and expertise in the department and the school encourages all of their members to become active in their own professional development and learning. Consequently, they not only do they have a large Leadership Team, but they are also currently developing a team of Lead Practitioners within the department and across the School. At the forefront of their philosophy is a desire to maximise the potential of all pupils, and they devote a considerable amount of departmental time to developing and sharing good practice.
