English Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of schools in Truro, and are looking for English specialist, qualified Teacher’s to work on both day to day and long term bookings.

We are looking for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) and Fully Qualified Teachers (FQT) to work within secondary schools, in and around Truro. The bookings can vary from one day – one year and all of our roles have the potential to lead to a permanent contract if needed and wanted.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

-A degree in English or an English related subject

-Qualified Teaching Status QTS

-A minimum of one year's experience – either paid or placements

-Good classroom management

-Safeguarding & Prevent training

Our day to day roles are perfect for anybody that is new to the area, recently qualified or looking to reduce work. This gives you the chance to pick the days you work, experience a range of year groups, and try out different schools in the area before committing to a permanent position. WE also have long term bookings that are from one term – one year and these are great for enabling you to experience the school over a longer period of time, build a good rapport with students and understand the needs of the pupils and the school in more depth.
