English Teacher

Location: Thornbury

Salary: £110 - £160

Full/part time

Teaching personnel requires a dynamic, motivated, pro-active and well-organised individual who has the ability and skills to successfully deliver dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students. As an English Teacher you will teach consistently outstanding lessons that will bring about excellent outcomes and encourages students to progress and develop to their full potential. You will be confident in teaching English across Key Stages 3 & 4 and inspire students to push and challenge in order to reach success. The school are happy to take on both NQT's and experienced teachers to ensure they find the right individual for their school.

About you:

  • QTS
  • Experience working in a secondary environment
  • Passion for your subject
  • The ability to inspire and engage young people
  • Confidence, patience and a 'can do' attitude
  • Good behavioural management
  • Enthusiastic, eager and hardworking ethos

The school is situated in the Thornbury area with a huge emphasis on community. They believe that every child has many different talents and they foster difference by developing individual's personal skills and attributes by offering worthwhile and relevant experiences.
