Roman Catholic school situated in Tameside require a teacher of English to start in January. This is a highly respected secondary school graded “Good” in all areas in their most recent Ofsted report.
This is a full time English teaching post until Easter initially with the potential to carry on to the end of the academic year. The post will consist of KS3 and KS4 English so it is essential that you have prior experience of this. You will be working within a high performing and established department where students achieve well above national averages with 69% achieving at least 5 A*-C grades in their GCSEs.
The school can be located in the M34 post code of Tameside just off the M60 and M67. There are also public transport routes that go directly to the school. The school will be looking to see English teachers in the upcoming weeks for interviews so you will need to be available for this.
