Job description

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher looking for your next teaching role? Teaching Personnel are working with one of our partner secondary schools to appoint a full-time English Teacher, teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

  • Inspire students to engage with literature, language, and creative writing.

  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities.

  • Use effective behaviour management to maintain a purposeful classroom.

  • Monitor progress, provide feedback, and support pupil achievement.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and English department.

We are looking for:

  • A qualified English Teacher (QTS or equivalent) or an ECT with strong subject knowledge.

  • Someone passionate about developing literacy and communication skills.

  • A teacher who is resilient, adaptable, and committed to raising attainment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
