Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a well-regarded secondary school in Hampshire to recruit a dedicated English Teacher for a maternity cover position commencing in September 2025. About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and innovative English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will join a supportive team of eight experienced educators who share a commitment to inspiring and challenging students. The department has a strong track record of consistently high GCSE results in English Language and Literature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practices.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.

Located in the New Forest area, this co-educational academy caters to students aged 11 to 16. Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
