Job description

Are you passionate about expanding minds nurturing a love of language and literature in all students. This could be the role for you.

Teaching personnel are looking for enthusiastic and passionate teacher of English and one of our secondary school settings.

This is a full time role.

Start date 02nd November

 

About the role 

To have strong subject knowledge, Creativity and to be able to engage learners of all abilities.

Demonstrate a strong ability to design and deliver English-specific skills development. both within individual lessons and across a thoughtfully sequences curriculum.

Effectively plan the progression of Key English skills, ensuring coherence and continuity within lessons and across a broader scheme of learning.

Have proven experience teaching English at Key Satges 3 and 4, with evidence of successful outcomes and student progress.

 

About the school

The school has a large range of resources that enhance teaching and learning.

We teach GSCE's and A level English with a additional A level option of Media studies.

Students are encouraged to engage beyond the classroom through a rich programme of extra- curricular activities.

An 11-18 non-selective academy.

A Dynamic and inclusive learning environment where every child can reach their full potential.

Trying to make a environment where it is "cool" to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
