Position: English Teacher
Location: Northampton
Teaching Personnel are looking for a successful candidate that has a passion for teaching English and will be able to motivate, elevate and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Planning and delivering high quality English lessons to Secondary students from key stages 3 and above. You will also be required to mark their work and provide constructive feedback where necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students from Key stage 3 to A-level
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification in English
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for literature, language, and student development.
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Hold an enhanced child only DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
