Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to work in secondary schools across Northampton and the surrounding areas. This is a full-time position with an immediate start.

This is an exciting opportunity to join supportive schools focused on raising attainment and fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging English Language and English Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the national curriculum

  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations

  • Maintain strong classroom management and positive learning environments

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching English at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge in both Language and Literature

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A genuine passion for education and student progress
