Position: English Teacher
Location: Northampton
Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Teaching Personnel are currently seeking passionate individuals to join our team to work in one of our client Colleges to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
The college is located very centrally to Northampton, in NN3 and has been rated a ‘Good’ institution by Ofsted. They offer a very large variety of courses for further education students from 16 plus including Diploma courses, and GCSE’s for those who are looking to retake the exams. The school have excellent transportation links and a very large car park for those that drive so is a very easy school to access.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that align with the curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements
- A qualification in teaching – Specialising in English (QTS or equivalent) however would still accept unqualified teachers with 3+ years’ experience teaching English to Secondary students.
- Have an abundance of Knowledge in both English Literature and Language
A child only enhanced DBS - The ability to inspire and motivate the students to develop a love for the subject and learning
- Overseas police clearance (If applicable)
- Full Time availability
- Full UK Drivers licence
