English Teacher

Full time English teacher required for large RC Secondary school from September.

Due to departmental restructure and school population growth, our client Secondary school are recruiting for an English teacher in the new academic year.

This position is open to both experienced and newly qualified English teachers, and the appropriate support will be provided.

The successful English teacher will be required to teach across Key Stage Three and GCSE, and will create lessons that are engaging and challenging for all pupils.

• English teacher required, full time from September 2018
• Pay in line with teaching experience (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)
• Fixed term position until August 2019 initially
• Full departmental responsibilities for planning and marking
• CPD and progress opportunities throughout position

The school currently have 1,300 pupils on roll, and with plans to expand, there are plans in place to create additional learning spaces for English, Mathematics and Science. The English faculty have access to a private Library, computer room and project area so lessons can be creative and diverse, whilst catering to all learner needs.

Situated in the Moston region of North Manchester, our partner Secondary school can be accessed via the M60 motorway. Neighbouring areas Oldham, central Manchester and Middleton also provide a direct route to the school. For non-drivers, the school is beside a metrolink stop, and there are a number of bus routes that lead to the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
