English Teacher - Manchester

  • Full time English teaching position to the end of the academic year
  • Teaching in a good graded Ofsted school
  • Modern state of the art facilities

Academy school in Manchester require an English teacher for February half term.

Due to a staff departure the position will be. This is a full time post from February to the end of the academic year teaching English up to GCSE Level.

Graded Good in their latest report this is an excellent opportunity for an English teacher looking for a position at a school that regular exercises good practice and teaching.

They are looking for an English teacher who will take on full teaching responsibilities of planning, marking and support the department where required. The school is located in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester and is just off the M60. It can also be located on public transport routes via tram and bus routes.

English teachers interested in this position will need to attend interviews and trials as planned by the school. Teaching Personnel will require a fully enhanced DBS and suitable teaching references.

Key features of this English post;

• Teaching English across KS3 and KS4

• Full time post from February to the end of the academic year

• Pay in line with your teachers scale point M1-UPS

This is an English department that will provide ongoing support for the successful English teacher and give opportunities for career development. You will need to have QTS in the UK and experience teaching English across KS3 and GCSE.
