Inspiring English Teacher – SEN Setting (Frome)

About the Provision
Set within a tranquil Somerset landscape, this specialist setting supports young people aged 6–19 with Asperger’s and related needs, including autism and ADHD.

The focus is on building confidence, independence and a love of learning through a structured and nurturing approach.

The Role
We are seeking a passionate English Teacher to deliver engaging secondary lessons and broaden pupils’ communication and literacy skills.

Opportunities are available on a part-time or full-time basis with an immediate start.

Working Pattern

8.30am – 3.30pm
Term-time schedule
Flexible hours based on provision needs

Key Duties

Plan and deliver creative English lessons at secondary level
Adapt teaching to suit individual learning profiles
Track progress and provide meaningful feedback
Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements

QTS or relevant teaching qualification
Strong understanding of autism and associated conditions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
