Teaching Personnel is recruiting a skilled and enthusiastic SEN Teacher for a specialist provision in Yeovil that supports children and young people with a wide range of additional learning needs.

What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated learning programmes
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning profiles
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Track progress through effective assessment and record keeping
- Contribute to EHCP targets and review meetings
- Support emotional wellbeing alongside academic development
- Lead, guide and collaborate with classroom support staff
- Champion inclusion and personalised learning opportunities
- Participate in enrichment activities, educational visits and whole-school events
- Maintain high expectations whilst recognising individual strengths and achievements
Candidate Requirements
Applications are welcomed from experienced SEND professionals and ECTs seeking specialist education experience.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience supporting learners with additional needs
- Strong understanding of adaptive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative and solution-focused approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare
Experience within specialist environments supporting learners with severe or profound learning difficulties would be beneficial but is not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
