English Teacher – January 2026 Start
Full-time (Part-time considered) | Bournemouth | Paid to Scale

Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Bournemouth area from January 2026.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher of English to inspire pupils and contribute to a supportive department that consistently delivers strong outcomes. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that all learners are supported in reaching their potential.

The school are looking for someone who can bring creativity, strong subject knowledge, and a genuine passion for English literature and language into the classroom. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

  • Start date: January 2026

  • Full-time position preferred, though part-time will be considered

  • Long-term role with potential for continuation or progression into a permanent post

  • Teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to deliver both Language and Literature

  • Pay in line with the national teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS)

Requirements for applicants:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level
