Are you passionate about helping students improve their English GCSE results? Do you have a strong background in English language and literature? If so, Teaching Personnel are looking for an English Intervention Specialist to join one of our client secondary schools in Manchester. As an English Intervention Specialist, you will work with students who require additional support in English, providing targeted interventions to help them achieve their full potential.
This is a full-time role, and you will earn a weekly salary between £385 and £450 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver tailored intervention programs to support students with their English language and literature skills.
- Collaborate with the English department to identify students in need of additional support and develop personalised intervention plans.
- Monitor and assess the progress of students receiving intervention, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure maximum impact.
- Work closely with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to provide regular updates on student progress and discuss strategies for improvement.
Requirements:
- A degree in English language, literature, or a related subject.
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- A fully enhanced child workforce DBS check, registered with the Update Service.
- Two employment-based references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
