Have you just recently graduated from university with a degree in English?
Are you passionate in English and want the opportunity to pass this on to students?
Could you see yourself working alongside students on a 1:1 or small group basis for extra revision, tuition or classroom support?
Are you looking for experience with students aged 11- 16 within a secondary school setting?
English Graduates are in high demand for Secondary schools across the Hartlepool area to work on a full time and part time basis. You are needed for classroom support, extra tuition and revision and it is the perfect way to gain in classroom experience and build relationships with multiple schools in your area. You role will be to work closely with students from KS3-KS5 with students of all different abilities and skill sets and make sure they are engaged and getting the support they need in this important time of their education. This role offers the opportunity to improve classroom management skills and behaviour management strategies, as well as gaining invaluable experience within different classroom settings
Responsibilities of this role will be:
- Deliver pre set work to students in full classroom settings
- Motivate and encourage pupils to remain on task and complete the set work
- Cover lessons in absence of class teacher; with no marking or planning responsibilities
