English and media teacher required at a Bolton secondary school, graded good by Ofsted during its most recent Ofsted inspection.
Required on a full time basis from February is an English teacher ideally with the confidence to cover Media classes also.

* Ofsted graded "Good" secondary school located in on the border of Bolton and Wigan
A rare opportunity has emerged at our client school which is an Ofsted graded "Good" secondary. Due to a gap within their department, they wish to appoint an English and Media teacher from Easter through till the end of the academic year. Applicants are required to hold experience delivering both English and Media across the ability and age range (KS3 and GCSE).
This large secondary school has roughly 1050 pupils on roll and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas Wigan, Leigh, Chorley and Salford. The vast majority of children are of white British heritage and the number of pupils with learning difficulties or a statement for special needs is below the national average. Located on the outskirts of Bolton, the School is easily accessible as it is only a short drive from the M61 and has direct transport links to the surrounding areas.
The successful applicant will join a well resourced department, who have consistently achieved 'Good' rating in previous OFSTED reports. Working within a vibrant department you will be given full support, subject specific CPD opportunities and a friendly teaching environment.
