Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and committed English-medium Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Swansea and Llanelli.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals with experience or interest in:

• Childcare or nursery work

• Youth work

• Support work

• Coaching or mentoring

• Sociology, psychology or education studies

• Any role involving supporting children or young people

No formal TA qualification is required — just a positive attitude, reliability, and a desire to make a difference.

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day tasks

• Helping pupils with their learning in groups or 1:1

• Assisting with classroom activities, resources and general organisation

• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe learning environment

• Engaging with pupils to support their development and confidence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
