SEN Teaching Assistant Needed in Fleetwood, Lancashire (FY7) 

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Fleetwood, Lancashire (FY7) 

Start Date: October 2024 

A two-form entry primary school in Fleetwood is looking for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team. This role involves supporting a Year 2 child with ADHD on a 1:1 basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support for a child with ADHD in Year 2.
• Build strong, nurturing relationships with children and staff.
• Promote inclusive learning aligned with the school’s ethos.

Candidate Requirements:

• Recent and relevant experience supporting children in KS1.
• Optimistic and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning.
• Experience with specific SEN is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to establish strong relationships with children and staff.
