Full-time Teaching Assistant Required in Early Years

A successful primary school in Yate is looking to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.

The school are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work mostly in EYFS but also with a potential to deliver interventions in other year groups and work with our parents and carers. Therefore, the ideal candidate would at last need some experience with EYFS children or an understand of Phonics/EYFS curriculum. This post would particularly suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident in managing challenging behaviour, supporting speech and language development and has a real affinity and affection for working with vulnerable children.

The ideal candidate:

• Would have excellent communication skills
• Be able to build positive relationships with the class and the wider school community
• Be passionate, engaging and motivational
• A desire to develop professionally
• Is able to challenge children to reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
