Location: BS3 Area, Bristol
Start Date: September
Pay: £90–£105 per day 

Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with a passion for Early Years education?
A friendly and inclusive primary school in the BS3 area of Bristol is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support their Reception class this September on a part-time basis.

There is also the opportunity for additional work across the rest of the week in this school and other local settings.

The Role:

  • Provide support in the Early Years/Reception classroom

  • Work closely with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), both 1:1 and in small groups

  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive

  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development

  • Contribute to classroom organisation, displays, and general tasks

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and escalate concerns when necessary

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Qualified as a Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or above)

  • Experienced in working with children in Early Years

  • Skilled and confident in supporting pupils with SEN needs

  • Patient, caring, and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills

  • Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team

  • Flexible and open to additional opportunities across the week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
