Early Years Teaching Assistant - Autumn Term - Rochdale

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant is needed to join a 1 form entry primary school in Rochdale on a short term basis. The school have identified additional needs in the Early Years cohort, who will be starting the school in the new academic year. A handful of children are not quite 'school ready' and will need assistance with adjusting to the change.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a degree in Early Years (or similar) and will be able to commit to the position for the duration of the Autumn term.

About the School:

  • One form entry
  • Small 'family-feel'
  • Easily accessible via public transport and parking on site

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Level 3 Qualification or Degree in Early Years (or similar)
  • Prior experience working with children at Nursery/Reception level
  • Phonics experience
  • Energetic and bubbly
  • Proactive and 'can-do' attitude
  • Able to commit on a full time basis
