Early Years Class Teacher – Poole

Full-time | Immediate Start 

About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for an Early Years Class Teacher to cover maternity leave in a specialist school in Poole.

This is a full-time role starting in October 2025, with interviews to be confirmed. The post offers the chance to make a real difference to children with a wide range of special educational needs, including those with severe and complex learning difficulties.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in an inclusive setting, supporting pupils to thrive both socially and academically.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in Early Years and working with pupils with diverse learning needs, or a strong passion for this field.

  • High levels of motivation and commitment to raising standards.

  • Strong subject and curriculum knowledge.

  • The ability to use specialised communication techniques to support children with complex needs.

  • Creativity, resilience and enthusiasm, with high expectations of themselves and others.

  • A capacity to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and wider stakeholders.

  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to change and challenge.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
