Job description

Interested in a full-time, EYFS Teaching Position in a mainstream primary school located in Huntingdon? This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified, or an experienced teacher to take on a Full-time role after February Half-term until the end of the academic year. 

The school is an excellent environment for educational development of Primary pupils and has been given an overall ‘Good’ grade by OFSTED. Their core values revolve around aiming high and achieving your best, therefore as a teacher you will be expected to advocate and re-enforce these values to ensure that your class will be achieving the best results possible. There are well structured and suitable play area's dedicated to delivering the EYFS effectively.

Successful applicants will be expected to work full time, 5 days a week, and your class will have the additional support of a qualified Teaching Assistant who will be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and maintaining their focus on set work.

Ideal applicants will also be required to:

  • Support children with challenging behaviour
  • Have their own transport
  • Have a professional level of classroom management skills
  • Possess Extensive knowledge of the curriculum
  • Be able to motivate and encourage primary school children to learn
  • Engage and motivate pupils by making classes interactive and stimulating

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
