Teaching Personnel are working closely with a client school that are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. The school is an average sized Primary school based in Central Liverpool where a couple of new children are starting in the school. The 2 children are on the autistic spectrum and the school a teaching assistant would benefit their transition into the school.

It was graded 'Good' in its last Ofsted report The Headteacher has created a culture where pupils can work in a calm and purposeful environment and achieve well. Parents, pupils and teachers appreciate the difference she has made to the school in improving the quality of teaching and raising standards. The head is looking for a teaching assistant who has at least 1 year experience working within a primary school in Early Years or Key Stage 1.

The early years is extremely well led by the Deputy Headteacher. As a result the education for the youngest children is outstanding. The progress of disadvantaged pupils, disabled pupils and those with special educational needs is outstanding. The Early Years is 2 form entry and is attached to the school nursery where both Foundation 1 and Foundation 2 learn together in an open unit. The Early Years department is well staffed and you will be supported throughout the placement by the class teachers and 2 HLTA's.
