 Early Years Teacher – SEN Specialist
Location:South Croydon
Start Date: ASAP

A South Croyodon School l is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who is confident in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and can make a real difference from day one.

Please note: This role is not open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to Early Years students with SEN

  • Create a supportive and nurturing learning environment

  • Use effective strategies to manage behaviour and encourage positive outcomes

  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and colleagues to meet individual needs

  • Help students develop academically, socially, and emotionally through structured and play-based learning

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher with proven Early Years teaching experience (not suitable for ECTs)

  • Strong background in supporting children with SEN (essential)

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Patient, adaptable, and resilient with a genuine passion for Early Years education

  • Available for an ASAP start and able to attend a trial day if shortlisted

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
