EYFS Phase Leader – Windsor
Location: Windsor
Start Date: After October Half Term
Contract: Full-Time, 5 Days a Week
Phase: Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery & Reception)
About the Role
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Windsor to recruit a passionate and experienced EYFS Phase Leader. This is a full-time leadership role, beginning after the October half term, ideal for an enthusiastic teacher ready to take the next step or an experienced leader seeking a new challenge.
The successful candidate will lead and manage the Early Years team, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning across the phase, while playing a key role in shaping provision for the youngest learners in the school.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strong and supportive leadership across the EYFS phase (Nursery and Reception)

Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment in line with the EYFS Framework
-
Support and develop the EYFS team through coaching, mentoring, and effective deployment
-
Monitor and evaluate pupil progress and provision, using data to inform next steps
-
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports all learners
-
Work collaboratively with SLT to contribute to whole-school development and improvement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Proven experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage
-
Previous leadership or middle management experience within a primary setting (desirable)
-
A strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS curriculum
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
