Contract Type: Full Time (Term-Time, Long-Term with Potential Extension)
Day Rate: £150 - £200 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a passionate and experienced Reception Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Milton Keynes this September. This full-time role will initially be for one term, with the potential to continue beyond December.

This school offers a welcoming and inclusive environment, where Early Years learning is truly valued. With a strong focus on curiosity, creativity and care, the Early Years team works closely together to ensure every child gets the very best start to their education.

As the Reception Class Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, child-led learning experiences that support each pupil’s development across all areas of the EYFS.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating a fun and purposeful learning environment for Reception-aged pupils
  • Planning and leading daily lessons and activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Observing and assessing children's progress and development
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants and parents to support each child’s learning journey
  • Promoting high standards of behaviour, safety, and wellbeing

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience working within an Early Years or Reception class setting
  • Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
  • A creative and reflective approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
