Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant Required - Trafford Primary School, M31, Partington - ASAP Start

Early Years Teaching Assistant supporting behaviour

Reception/Y1 Maths & English Support (AM's) / 1:1 support with Behaviour (PM's)

Level 3 qualification and experience of supporting SEN children ideally

Do you have a Level 3/ equivalent qualification or higher?

Have you got experience or a passion for working with SEN Children?

Do you have experience working within the Early Years or Key Stage 1?

Are you looking for a long-term position ASAP?

Due to the nature of the cohort of children within their Early Years Department, a "Good" Primary school in the Partington area of Trafford are looking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to work within their Early Years Department. You would be working within the Early Years and Year 1 in the mornings, supporting small groups with literacy and numeracy. In the afternoon you will be expected to provide 1:1 support to a boy in Reception with behavioural issues.

The school can offer state of the art facilities and come with an experienced and highly skilled Early Years staff team. In addition, they can offer a bespoke and individual early years outdoor learning environment to allow the children to learn freely and flourish.

The position would be on a long term basis and would begin ASAP.

  • Early Years Teaching Assistant
  • Supporting Literacy & Numeracy in the mornings (Reception and Year 1)
  • 1:1 support with a Reception aged boy with behavioural issues in the afternoons
  • Controlling and managing behaviour - violence and aggression
  • Supporting learning on a 1:1 basis - individual timetable
