Job description

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated, and ambitious Early Career Teacher looking to begin your teaching career in a supportive and welcoming primary school? We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Primary ECT to join our dedicated team from September 2025.

Whether you are specialising in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, we are committed to providing the support and guidance you need to excel in your teaching journey.

The Role:
✔ Plan and deliver high-quality, creative, and differentiated lessons to meet the varying needs of pupils.
✔ Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all children feel valued and respected.
✔ Promote positive behaviour management strategies that encourage pupil engagement and motivation.
✔ Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
✔ Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support pupils' academic and emotional development.
✔ Participate fully in staff training, team meetings, and whole-school events as part of your professional development.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
✨ Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve QTS by September 2025.
✨ Be passionate about teaching and committed to delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
✨ Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, staff, and families.
✨ Be reflective, resilient, and willing to embrace feedback for continuous improvement.
✨ Share our commitment to promoting high standards of achievement and pupil well-being.
✨ Have high expectations for all learners and a belief in every child’s potential to succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
